The Nigerian Judiciary: A Clarion Call for Judicial Reform

“Courts stand as havens of refuge for those who might otherwise suffer because they are helpless, weak, outnumbered or victims of prejudice or public excitement”.

In dismay we have watched these words turn to tales by moonlight. The common man no more run to the court for shelter, for what good would it be, when the fierce storm of injustice could swallow him in his sojourn for justice.

While we could decide to blame the entire judiciary, we in turn let loose the main monster from the bag. This is why we have choosen to answer the daring question, “To what extent is the Nigerian Judiciary terrorized by the alluring monster of over dependency on other arms of government?”
